Should You Eliminate Wheat From Your Diet?

If you're struggling for energy you may want to consider looking at your diet more closely.  The truth is, wheat is a source of carbohydrates that give you energy.  The problem is, as humans, unlike cows, we lack the enzymes in our saliva and stomach to fully breakdown and absorb gluten for nutritional use.

The good news is, there are alternatives to eating wheat in order to get the necessary carbs in your system to give you proper energy.  Foods such as rice, oats, corn and quinoa are excellent sources of carbohydrates.  Consider these alternatives to your diet as your carbohydrate source and start feeling the difference.
